As winter devolves into spring, the market naturally heats up. The hot zone of the housing market occurs from May and tends to slow toward the end of August and cools off for a bit. The housing market than perks up for a bit in fall and than slows as you approach the holidays and than starts to gain interest slowly as you thread your way through January.

The biggest thing about the spring and summer months is that you can showcase your home better, especially from a curb appeal perspective. It looks better in spring or summer than late fall or winter when the yard might be covered with snow and all the foliage is bare making the yard look somewhat forlorn.
